OR Responsibilities (selected duties):
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and safety following regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide patient-centered care, including assessing needs, developing care plans, and documenting medical records.
  • Assist in surgeries by ensuring patient comfort, specimen handling, and asepsis standards.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members for comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and vital signs throughout their care.
  • Administer medications and report any adverse reactions promptly.

Qualifications for Perioperative RN
  • Must have a nursing diploma or degree from an accredited program.
  • Hold a current RN license in a U.S. state or territory.
  • Minimum of two years of active RN practice.
  • Experience in adult medical and surgical patient care.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
