Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Collaborating with professional disciplines for effective patient care
  • Assisting in various patient care activities and services
  • Helping patients with personal hygiene, vital signs, and bed linens
  • Serving food trays, providing nourishment, and preparing supplies
  • Following policies for bathing, dressing patients, and vital signs
  • Working under the supervision of RNs and supervisors

Key qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Six months of direct patient care experience or equivalent education
  • American Heart Association BLS certification within 90 days
