Position Overview:
- Execute precision assembly of rocket engine components such as combustion devices, valves, turbomachinery, avionics, and test equipment
- Conduct root cause analysis and diagnostic component maintenance activities
- Perform Nitrogen and Helium leak testing
- Prepare components for environmental testing and conduct hydro proof structural testing
- Ensure strict cleanliness standards are maintained, particularly focusing on liquid/gaseous oxygen compatibility
- Assist in the design, procurement, installation, and integration of specialized manufacturing and test equipment
- Manage tooling and equipment inventory
- Handle hazardous systems, chemicals, and high-pressure operations safely
- Define procedures for preparing hardware for test, qualification, and flight
- Explore and implement innovative manufacturing methods to enhance quality, reduce costs, and optimize production schedules
- Collaborate on the development of comprehensive manufacturing work instructions covering various processes from receiving inspection to refurbishment
- Identify and address non-conformances, contributing to corrective actions
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in manufacturing or engine assembly
- Proficiency in precision assembly with tight tolerances
- Excellent ability to interpret engineering drawings
- Extensive experience in reading and understanding specifications and detailed work instructions
- Demonstrated success in developing new processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with proficiency in various software tools
- Ability to work effectively at all organizational levels and contribute to a culture of inclusion
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs
- Capability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for short periods
- Flexibility in work schedule to meet business demands
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends when necessary
- Openness to travel for an initial training period of 6-12 months
Preferred Experience:
- Background in Aerospace, Aviation, or Automotive sectors

- A&P certification
