Day Description:
Comment:OR SURGICAL TECH 10H days: 7am, 9:30am, & 1pm start. Rotating weekend and holidays, with on-call and weekends as needed, at least 1 weekend per month. Must be able to perform independently, without assistance ORTHO, NEURO & SPINE .
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Associates Degree from Surgical Tech Program or equivalent certification. 2 years of formal in-hospital experience. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Epic Experience required. Will accept Covid medical/religious exemption. Time off requests must be kept to a minimum during your assignment and must be approved prior to confirmation.
Please note, holidays off will be limited to 1 of the 3 major and at the discretion of UCONN Health.
Mandatory Overtime:
During Personnel s assignment with Client, he or she is considered part of the unit and will be included as part of the rotation pool of staff (i.e., Client employees and Personnel) who are required to work additional hours on an as-needed basis to ensure coverage for the unit.
Float:
Client may float or reassign Personnel to a different department, unit, or facility (within 30 miles of the Personnel s originally assigned facility) within the Personnel s clinical competence
