Senior Power Supply Component Engineer

Duration: Fulltime
About the Job:
- BSEE (minimum) or MSEE or above (preferred)
- More than 15 years of experience as a power design engineer with a focus on advanced technologies such as immersion cooling and GaN high density design.
- Experience as a technical lead in a leading company in the power industry is a plus.
- Expertise in power supply design quality assessment and reliability.
- Understanding of power supply manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional dynamics positively and deliver results in a fast-paced team environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
- Evaluating advanced technologies and qualifying new products for networking power supply, including immersion cooling, cold plate cooling, and high power density & efficiency designs using wide bandgap switch devices.
- Assessing the robustness and reliability of customized power supply designs for high-reliability applications.
- Conducting technical reviews and audits to ensure manufacturing readiness.
- Collaborating with power vendors for quality management throughout the power supply lifecycle.
- Leading root cause failure analysis, risk containment, and corrective actions for critical issues.
- Developing key capabilities in Client power vendors' design and manufacturing to meet requirements.
- Working with internal teams to establish power commodity technology strategy and preferred suppliers' selection.
