Position Summary

Our unique interprofessional education model allows students to learn from and with each other in a variety of settings, including our simulation labs, the student-led Interprofessional Community Clinic, and through partnerships with area hospitals and clinics.
RFU is a national leader in interprofessional research and practices, and is nationally recognized for its research in areas including neuroscience, brain-related diseases, inherited disorders, proteomics, cancer cell biology and immunology, cardiac resuscitation, and gait and balance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Greets people entering the office, answers phones, provide directions and alerting staff when someone is there to meet or visit with them
- Provides information and assists students with student accountrelated functions. Will guide both prospective and current students through the entire financial aid/student account process. Interacts facetoface with a large number of students.
- Assists with the update of content on university portals, INSITE, and SFS website
- Provide The Office of Student Financial Services leadership with administrative support. _(_Associate Vice President, University Bursar, Director of Financial Aid)_
- Provide clerical assistance to Student Financial Services staff
- Maintain a basic knowledge of federal and state financial aid and student account related policies and procedures
- Utilize the University's database system (Colleague) for all pertinent SFS data entry and processing functions
Conditions of Employment
- Must achieve satisfactory results from a background check
- Compliance with the current COVID19 vaccination policy
Required Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Three to five years of clerical work experience, or combination of education and experience commensurate with the requirements of this position
- Experience with personal computer software
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data entry required: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Google Office Suite, Google docs, Google Forms, Google Sheets
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication
- Demonstrated ability to interact with students and outside agencies to resolve problems
- Must have ability to prioritize multiple projects and work independently with mínimal supervision in a multitask environment
- Demonstrated ability to process and maintain information that is often ambiguous and highly confidential
- Communicates effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Operate a variety of office equipment including a desktop calculator
