Metadata Specialist (US - Contract)

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$50 - $54 Per Hour

Position Overview:

Expedia Group is looking for a temporary Metadata Specialist to join our digital asset management (DAM) team. Previous experience working with metadata and digital asset management systems is a must.

Responsibilities of the Metadata Specialist:


  • Responsible for reviewing and updating the metadata associated with the assets, ensuring that it is accurate, consistent, and standardized
  • Work closely with the existing team to understand our metadata standards and will conduct regular audits of the metadata to ensure its accuracy and consistency
  • Coordinate changes to computer databases
  • May plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard computer databases

Qualifications of the Metadata Specialist:


  • Bachelor's degree in information science, library science, or a related field
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with metadata standards and best practices
  • Brandfolder and Smartsheet experience is a plus
  • Photo editing experience is a plus
