About the Role
As the Supervisor of Fleet Services, you will oversee, coordinate, and evaluate maintenance activities carried out by Fleet Services staff and/or external vendors, both in a workshop setting and out in the field. This role encompasses a broad spectrum of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on cars, trucks, and construction machinery.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and mentor team members engaged in fleet maintenance, covering all aspects of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs on vehicles and equipment.

• Manage equipment and personnel records, alongside other assigned duties.

• Implement and supervise Fleet programs and operative tasks of fleet team members.

• Ensure compliance with labor and vendor contracts, as well as agreements.

• Provide expert consultation and support to other departments on matters related to Fleet Services operations.

Requirements
Successful candidates must hold a High School Diploma or equivalent, coupled with completion of a two-year automotive training program from a recognized institution. A minimum of five years of pertinent experience, inclusive of three years as a Journeyman Automotive Mechanic within automotive repair settings, is essential. Hands-on supervisory experience in automotive repair facilities is desirable.

Moreover, the ideal candidate will exhibit exceptional leadership, decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills. Fulfilling specific State/Federal driver's licensing requirements, medical screenings, and drug tests is mandatory for acceptance into this role.
