Position Overview

As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Speech Language Pathologist is responsible for the assessment, provision, oversight, and evaluation of speech therapy services to patients in accordance with the prescribed Plan of Care established by their physician. This role adheres to all relevant federal, state, and agency regulations, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct speech therapy services to patients as directed by a physician, following the established Plan of Care.
  • Ensure compliance with agency standards, policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation of all services provided to patients.
  • Collaborate with team members to review and update the patient's Plan of Care as necessary.
  • Contribute to the agency's financial and productivity objectives by performing job responsibilities efficiently.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with a current state license.
  • Experience: A minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferably in acute care or rehabilitation settings.
  • Skills: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating sound judgment, flexibility, and patience.
  • Position requires mental acuity, attention to detail, analytical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work irregular hours as needed.
