What You'll Do

As part of this role, you will coordinate the interstate transportation of bulk drivers to deliver our explosive products to various customers and internal locations. Your responsibilities will include organizing trip schedules, communicating with drivers about routes and schedules, and other tasks such as:

  • Customer communication regarding product details and delivery/pickup times
  • Route planning and adjustments as necessary
  • Preparation of dispatch documents, invoices, and bills
  • Maintaining records of calls, routes, changes, and delivery times
  • Ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and laws
  • Reviewing driver logs and monitoring maintenance schedules
  • Recording customer shipping schedules and feedback

What We're Looking For:

  • Class A License with 2-3 years of truck dispatcher experience in a similar industry
  • Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain one (Preferred Hazmat knowledge)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Transportation Management Software (TMS)
  • Familiarity with relevant transportation regulations
  • Strong background in customer service, freight billing, and invoicing
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Positive attitude, team player, and friendly demeanor
