Job Summary:

The PQD Assistant Manager of IATF and Auditing is responsible for the management and leadership of the company's IATF internal audit program initiatives, Special Process Audit Program and Green Zone Audit Program. The selected individual will provide direction and guidance to PQD Quality Engineers. The individual will also work closely with the manager and General manager regarding the achievement and status of department initiatives, goals and objectives, along with develop position and productive business relationships with manufacturing, engineering, support groups and plant leadership to achieve quality standards.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Overall responsibility for management and leadership of PQD groups of IATF, Special Process Audit and Green Zone Audit groups and the associate department personnel
  • Effectively communicate project and activity status and pro-actively manage risks
  • Develop and participate in various auditing processes at all levels of the organization; make overall recommendations for improvements base on audit results
  • Ensure adherence to IATF and internal quality management system requirements
  • Create and maintain ANCE IATF internal audit program, Special process audit schedule and training matrix, along with the ANC Green Zone audit program schedule
  • proactively modify activity plans and focus items based on company need and identified performance gaps
  • support development and revision of ANC organization standards to comply with customer and certification body standards and requirements
  • identify and report non-conformances based on audit results. Monitor correction action activities
  • Provide direction and guidance to PQD quality engineers
  • perform other duties as assigned that support the overall objectives of the organization and the position

Accountabilities:

  • Support and drive successful PQD program initiative creation, implementation, communication and follow-up
  • responsible for facilitating and assisting with the development of auditing of various Management Systems such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949, Special Process Audit and Green Zone Auditing
  • Work closely with various departments in the development of sustainable processes and procedures
  • Drive corrective action activity to ensure adherence to QMS requirements
  • Work cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, QA and various support groups to complete audit activity and implement improvements

Knowledge, Skills & Experiences Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field plus 3 years of experience leading various quality initiatives
  • Significant experience with various Management Systems development and auditing such as ISO9001, and IATF 16949
  • IATF Lead Auditor certification including customer specific requirements and core tools from a certified training provider
  • Direct experience with document control and change management processes strongly desired
  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to solve problems, identify patterns and report relevant data to the organization and upper levels of management
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to positively influence and motivate others with continuous improvement and change
  • Ability to effectively manage schedules and timelines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills with MS Office; high proficiency with Excel required; SharePoint use and development experience also preferred
