HQ Aero is currently seeking CR&O STRUCTURES TECHNICIANS in BRIDGEPORT, WV.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
- Perform minor/major structural repairs.
- Assist in conducting hidden damage inspection of aircraft structure components.
- Assist with complex structural repairs.
- Perform mechanical/electrical removals and installations as required.
- Assist in providing time estimates as needed.
- Follow general work rules and company policies applicable to the job.
- Minimum of 2 years of structural sheet metal repair/modification experience.
- Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings.
- Effective communication skills in written and verbal form.
- Delegated Inspector qualifications and Certified Welder qualifications preferred.
- Ability to train other employees, possess sheet metal tools, and control of tools.
- Ability to obtain appropriate Ground Support Equipment Qualifications.
- Basic PC skills required, high school diploma or GED.
- Completion of Criminal Background Check & Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening mandatory.
- Full-time, Contract.
- Shift Hours: Day shift – Monday to Friday with available overtime.
- Work as part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- Self-starter, detail-oriented, organized, able to multi-task.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Physical Demands: Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequent walking, standing, and climbing.
- Work Environment: Ability to work in confined spaces, aircraft maintenance environment.
