Seeking a CAD Designer to work with our Municipal and Facilities teams in our State College, PA or Mechanicsburg, PA office.

This position will be responsible for performing complex drafting operations and detailed design using the AutoCAD family of products to produce technical process, mechanical, and electrical drawings.

The Designer works independently and efficiently under the supervision of a more senior-level designer, engineer, or project manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Create mechanical and electrical drawings using CAD
  • May provide design assistance for multiple projects
  • Communicate and collaborate with project team

Requirements:

  • Proficient in AutoCAD, experience with preparation of process piping, mechanical, and electrical drawings.
  • Experience with Plant 3D, AutoCAD MEP, or Revit required.
  • Proficient in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D for site work.
  • Basic understanding of piping materials and fittings.
  • Ability to conceptualize and draw design details independently with minor instruction from engineers.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment to meet critical project deadlines.
  • Experience in site design and land development a plus.
  • Graduate of a twoyear technical school or associate's degree in a related field
  • Minimum 57 years design experience
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well as a part of a team in an inperson or hybrid environment.
