Job Description:

The Regional Director of Operations plays a crucial role in leading their assigned areas to support the organization's strategic goals and meet financial targets. Success in this position hinges on maintaining safe operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, fostering clinical excellence, and driving profitable growth while upholding GMR values.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop unique strategies to gain a competitive edge and convert broad objectives into specific action plans.
  • Champion innovative ideas that cater to market needs and enhance customer experiences through calculated risks.
  • Identify financially viable business opportunities and translate them into sustainable growth.
  • Analyze financial records and key metrics to make informed decisions that align with strategic goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of divisional profit and loss, including revenue and expense management.
  • Manage accounts receivable and understand various payer classes to optimize revenue collection.
  • Communicate regional and national strategies to the division and engage with stakeholders effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with local communities and stakeholders to support business objectives.
  • Participate in labor negotiations while balancing employee engagement with financial goals.
  • Establish operational processes to enhance quality and compliance.
  • Lead disaster planning efforts and manage crisis situations effectively.
  • Deliver clear and compelling presentations and written communications.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations governing business operations.
  • Mentor team members, conduct performance evaluations, and drive individual and team development.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion initiatives across all employment aspects.
  • Inspire and motivate the team to achieve their objectives.
  • Travel as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8-10 years of experience with 3 years in management, preferably within EMS.
  • Proven track record of building strong internal and external relationships.
  • Proficiency in business modeling, financial statements, and analysis.

This position offers an annual bonus.
