Bookkeeper - Part-time (once a week, 3 to 4 hours)
$20-$24/hour

Our client is seeking a Part-time Bookkeeper to become an integral part of their organization's financial operations. With responsibilities ranging from meticulous document origination to crucial financial reviews, you'll play a pivotal role in maintaining their efficiency and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Sorting and categorizing incoming emails and documents into designated folders. Appropriately file items to maintain organizational efficiency.
- Packing List - Match new invoices received and archiving others by month.
- Receipts: - Including debit card receipts, check stubs, and received checks,
- Paystubs - collecting until month-end for monthly tasks.
- Statements- Utilizing for cross-referencing to ensure all invoices are accounted for.
- Account Management updates regarding Business Checking, Business Credit Line and Business Credit Card.
- Data Entry of new invoices from vendors into QuickBooks.
- Invoice Management, matching checks stubs to associated invoices and file.
- Monthly tasks include Account Reconciliation, Payment processing, handling state and federal withholding payments and filing Sales and Use Tax Return by the 20th of each month.
- Financial Review of Profit and Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet for consistency and accuracy.
- Communication of updated and dispatching past-due notices, including customer follow-up via phone if necessary
- Quarterly tasks include payroll reporting by submission and periodic review of Form 941 (Federal) and NC101 (State) reports.
- Annual Tasks to include Tax Reporting by compilation and submission of W2, W3 forms, completion and filing of Form 940 and Form NC3 and handling 1099/1096 forms. Must ensure QuickBooks accounts are accountant-ready for submission to the accountant.
Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in QuickBooks. desktop and online.
- Desire to work a part-time position.
