What's the Role?
We are seeking a skilled Reward & Job Evaluation Consultant to join Shell's Performance and Reward team. Our global Reward team encompasses expertise in Reward and Job Evaluation, with team members collaborating across both areas.
You will work closely with a dynamic team to establish effective organizational structures and fair reward systems that are competitive, equitable, and efficient. As consultants to various business units, functions, and countries, we closely engage with multiple clients, leveraging best practices from both within and outside Shell to contribute to building a top-tier organization.

Joining the Reward and Job Evaluation team will allow you to enhance your benchmarking/calibration, project management, business acumen, global collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and organizational design skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing or enhancing compensation programs, initiatives, and processes in alignment with organizational priorities
- Collaborating with the Global Policy team to conduct Country reviews
- Conducting pay benchmarking across diverse populations and business units
- Contributing to policy development and implementation
- Offering advice on reward matters and Shell's pay policies
- Ensuring application and alignment with global compensation policies and processes
- Performing job evaluations and partnering with HR and business leaders for job leveling
- Cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders
- Driving continuous improvement in the Reward Centre of Expertise
- Staying informed on legislation and policy changes
- Legal authorization to work full-time in the US for a company other than your current employer
- Bachelor's Degree
- Extensive background in compensation
- Experience in reward across Western Hemisphere countries
- Project management experience
- Knowledge of HR systems such as Workday, HRIS, and SAP
- Ability to work across multiple countries and interact in matrix organizations
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements
- Adaptability to various work team environments
- Strong personal presence and ability to apply knowledge practically
