Hudson Milestones is searching for a reliable and dedicated
Full Time or Part Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) of Residential Services to work with and support adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities.

This position requires a compassionate direct care professional as you will be assisting adults with day-to-day living, client care, safety, and other tasks that will help strengthen life skills.


_Hours vary between evening and overnight hours, flexibility is a must and does include weekends._

Full Time DSP Rate is $19.50 Hourly with available benefit packages for eligible employees along with paid trainings.

Part Time DSP rate is $18.00 Hourly along with paid trainings.

Shifts are evenings and/or overnights to include weekends, flexibility is a must.

Work Locations are currently available in North Bergen, Secaucus, and Kearny** - _Please note due to our locations throughout the Hudson County Area, you must be willing and able to travel to alternate locations due to client needs. A Valid New Jersey Driver's License is required._

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, assistance with bathroom use, teeth brushing, etc.
  • Daily Log Documentation and reporting
  • Housekeeping: laundry, cleaning, sanitizing, etc.
  • Providing companionship to clients and promoting community outtings and experience.
  • Van driving for errands, appointments, or social events.
  • Administration of client medications.
  • Client safety and support.
  • Incident documentation and follow up where necessary.
  • Assisting with food shopping and meal preparation.
  • Attending medical appointments and advocating on behalf of the client.
  • Safety and upkeep of residential group home properties.
  • Applicant must be comfortable using a computer and able to provide clear communication verbally or written.


All training and onboarding for hires is conducted in person and on site in our Jersey City, NJ Administrative Office.

Other external appointments such as durg screen, physical, and fingerprints are required.

Skills/Education:

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills in Microsoft word and Excel.
  • Professional disposition.
  • CPR Certification a plus, we will train.
