I. Job Summary
In this role, you will be in charge of Onboarding, Developing, Coaching, Mentoring, and Performance Management for all drivers and helpers. Your focus will be on building strong relationships with frontline employees and being actively involved in the field.
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Essential Function
- Onboarding
- New Route Managers
- Ensure new frontline employees have the necessary tools, guidance, and feedback for their daily tasks
- Regularly meet with new frontline employees to provide support during the onboarding process
- Developing
- Have consistent touchpoints with frontline employees
- Review best practices to improve daily performance
- Focus on understanding and supporting frontline employees' career aspirations
- Coaching
- Identify areas for improvement and work collaboratively with frontline employees for their success
- Engage in productive coaching conversations and seek feedback
- Mentoring
- Set an example for safety practices within the team
- Teach and instill the 'WM Way' principles
- Performance Management
- Conduct investigations for all incidents, ensuring consistent discipline and retraining
- Maintain necessary records as per regulatory requirements
- Regularly review documentation related to route operations and address issues promptly
- Visit customers and sites to address safety concerns and find suitable solutions
III. Qualifications
The following requirements are essential for this role:
- A. Education and Experience
- Education: Associate's Degree or High School Diploma/GED, along with 2 years of relevant work experience
- Experience: 2 additional years of work experience
- B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

- C. Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities Required
- None required
V. Work Environment
This role involves a combination of office and field environments, requiring the use of standard office equipment.
