JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PROGRAM COORDINATOR


This Program Coordinator is a non-managerial position which is responsible for a range of professional and technical duties in support of the Office of Economic Growth (OEG).

The responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to, project and program management, contract review and compliance tracking, financial and budget analysis, and other duties related to the administration of the programs and committees established by and coordinated through the OEG.

The successful applicant is required to be familiar with principles surrounding small business lending, credit and underwriting, commercial redevelopment, and show initiative to research and learn new concepts related to these principles.

Coordination of the Commercial Redevelopment Revolving Loan Fund, Commercial Landscape Grant Program and CDBG Small Business Loan Program and other funding agreements, as needed, including:

Assists OEG customers in preparation of their respective loan and grant applications.
Checklists loan and grant applications for completeness.
Assists in OEG underwriting review.
Records Promissory Notes, Liens and Mortgages, when necessary.
Works with OEG staff developing and maintaining program records, compliance reports and KPI's.

Markets County small business and commercial assistance programs to external customers which involves regular meetings and prospecting outside the office.

Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Knowledge of small business lending activities, including credit analysis and loan documentation.
Knowledge of economic growth and commercial redevelopment principles and practices.
Ability to develop and maintain relationships with local stakeholders and customers.
Ability to handle sensitive or confidential information.
Ability to coordinate and manage multiple functions and tasks.
Ability to interpret applicable legislation, rules and codes, including the County's planning, engineering and building permit processes.
Ability to operate a computer and industry-related software.
Knowledge of business English and Microsoft Office, including Windows, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook,

PHYSICAL SKILLS:
Ability to communicate effectively using written, verbal, and graphic mediums.
EDUCATION, TRAINING,

AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business, Marketing, Communications,


Public Administration, or a related field and Two (2) years of project management, contract compliance, business development, marketing, or related experience.

Two (2) years of experience in small business lending preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS,

OR REGISTRATIONS:
Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.
