Apple Spice Box Lunch Delivery & Catering is continuously growing, and we're looking for a passionate, high-energy leader to join our Chicago team as a Relationship Manager.


Apple Spice is a drop-and-go box lunch delivery and catering company known for providing high quality breakfast and lunch to the businesses of Chicago.

We pride ourselves on providing growth opportunities, a stable and rewarding career, and afun work environment for our valued team.

There is no dine-in component of the business, we're closed most nights/weekends, and a typical schedule for this role is 8:00am to 4:00pm.


We are looking for an experienced and motivated sales professional to lead business development, focused on growth and acting as a passionate brand ambassador for Apple Spice.

The Relationship Manager will play a key role in continuing our company's growth by cultivatingnew relationships, identifying the decision-makers within the organization responsible for ordering food, and driving sales within the Chicago corporate community.


  • Excellent interpersonal, communications, and presentation skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Ability to plan and manage at both the strategic and operational levels
  • Ability to identify prospects and develop the tactics needed to bring them to fruition
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and work effectively, independently, and efficiently 3+ years in food service/catering preferred
  • Basic food safety understanding and practice
  • Permission to work in US with valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation
Representative tasks and responsibilities for a Relationship Manager include:

  • Work directly with the owner to build marketing and sales strategies
  • Achieve sales targets, grow sales, and expand customer base
  • Effectively execute all steps in the sales cycle process
  • Act as a professional representative and brand ambassador for Apple Spice through oneonone interactions with new and existing customers
  • Maintain ongoing contact with customers to build sales through thank you letters and followup calls
  • Provide customers with quotes
  • Participate in reoccurring management meetings
  • Address customer concerns
  • Document customer service contacts
