Worker's Compensation Paralegal

We are on the lookout for a Paralegal specialized in Workers' Compensation who thrives in a collaborative and independent setting, where both team and organizational diversity are highly valued.
The perfect candidate is one who actively seeks growth opportunities, willingly shares knowledge and expertise, and is open to fresh ideas; someone who showcases adaptability, welcomes change, and is eager to take on challenging tasks. The chosen candidate will have the option to work remotely for up to 2 days per week.
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and respond to Subpoenas and HIPAAs.
- Assist management in data analysis and report management.
- Conduct legal research and summarize case law.
- Prepare various legal documents, pleadings, motions, and briefs, as well as certifications and affidavits.
- Provide comprehensive support to staff attorneys from the start of litigation to trial.
- Offer litigation support for regional claims.
- Assist in civil claims actions and coverage matters.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Paralegal Certificate is required (preferably from an ABA approved program).
- Proficiency in organizing and preparing legal documents accurately;
- Strong ability in summarizing and analyzing legal documents and medical records;
- Conduct, summarize, and analyze investigative and/or legal research effectively;
- Experience with laws and statutes related to workers' compensation litigation and civil tort litigation in multiple states;
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail and customer service mentality;
- Exceptional organizational/prioritization and time management skills, proficient in handling multiple priorities efficiently;
- Must demonstrate the ability to proactively manage a considerable case load efficiently;
- Capable of working independently while also open to mentorship.
