What You Will Do in This RoleConducts cost-effective equipment inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair service on various medical devices.
Completes all paperwork and computer data entry accurately and promptly to ensure complete documentation for billing and regulatory compliance. Communicates with clinical staff on the topics of equipment features, functionality, etc.
What You Will Need for This RoleAn associate degree in electronics, mechanical engineering, or biomedical equipment technology.

Alternative qualifications include Equivalent military training or Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET).Subject matter expertise in specialized equipment areas, e.g., anesthesia, imaging, network-smart technology, respiratory, sterilizers and exceptional comprehension of service programs and contractual obligations.

Proficiency in completing preventive maintenance and repairs on a wide range of general equipment.
Must hold a current, valid, and unrestricted driver's license. Must have a safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office programs.

The ability to provide technical training and coaching to other employees in areas such as equipment operation, check-out procedures, preventive maintenance, repair, quality management and/or International Organization for Standardization practices, procedures, and documentation.

The ability to supervise other biomedical personnel and other employees.

A willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency off-hours as needed to support a 24/7 schedule.

A willingness to travel periodically to support business needs.
The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 75 pounds.
The ability to often bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch/squat, kneel/crawl, sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
