**Job Description**

We are seeking an experienced Breaker Technician. The ideal candidate will apply their mechanical, electrical and related knowledge to repair, rebuild, modify, and test low and medium voltage circuit breakers, all while working towards mastery of all objectives of the role. The duties of this role include, but are not limited to, systematic disassembly and reassembly of circuit breakers, evaluating and documenting damage and repairs, reading and interpreting various technical documents, installing and programming custom retrofit trip unit kits, performing diagnostic tests, preparing and reconditioning components, maintaining a neat personal work area, installing optional control devices, producing routine reports, providing on-site support for field service operations, and maintaining personal tools. Some other duties may be assigned by the supervisor.

**Hard Skills**

+ Mechanical experience

+ Experience working on breakers or cars

+ Military experience as a mechanic

**Job Type**

This is a contract position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

**Work Site**

This is a fully on-site position in Tucson, Arizona.

**Work Environment**

This role may require working in a shop or out in the field. Travel is required, with a general rule of getting home for the weekend. However, some weekend travel may be required at times. Typical travel might be leaving on a Sunday, getting home on a Friday. Accommodation and transportation to job sites are provided. A fuel card program is coming, so that fuel cards will be assigned to each truck. Until then, they should always be with someone who has a company credit card to pay for fuel.
