Open Until Filled This position will start with the Winter 2024 season. This is a paid supplemental coaching position at approximately $5,520.00 for the season.
The Palmyra Area School District has an opening for our Middle School 8th Grade Girls Basketball Coach. This position is for a person of integrity and character, and have a passion for teaching and coaching the game of basketball.
Qualifications:
- Previous coaching or collegiate level of play is preferred.
- Must have advanced knowledge of coaching basketball.
- Ability to interact and motivate student-athletes of varying skill levels.
- Evidence of effective leadership.
- Must be student-oriented and organized.
- Must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Under the guidance and direction of the Basketball Head Coach, the successful candidate will work in coordination and implementation of the basketball program's vision.
