Position.

Software Engineer – Blockchain

Responsibilities

Spearheaded the architectural design and implementation of the Web3 stack across major chains and protocols.

Scale and maintain robust services facilitating customer interaction with various Blockchains, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others.

Drive innovation by adopting and testing new technologies and products in the blockchain space.

Focus on generalization across blockchains rather than specialization.

Integrate Blockchain data and primitives into the broader Platform stack through repeatable and generalizable interfaces.

Take ownership of technical aspects, ensuring technology aligns with customers' needs.

Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product leadership to plan, prioritize, and productize new features.

Deliver against an ambitious product roadmap supporting strategic business initiatives.

Provide ongoing maintenance of the technology stack, ensuring reliability, performance, and ease of use.

Offer timely support for customer issues and triage effectively.

Provide subject matter expertise on the Blockchain ecosystem and in-house implementation.

Preferred Qualifications

Proven technical leadership in Blockchain technologies with extensive experience across various Blockchain protocols and structures.

Experience shipping and maintaining multiple projects with a large user base.

Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, Go, Python, or equivalent languages.

Strong understanding of different consensus protocols.

Familiarity with modern software development methodologies and design patterns.

Experience building robust backend services at scale.

Self-starter with a penchant for exploration, iteration, and decision-making contribution.

Familiarity with Blockchain-as-a-service stacks is advantageous.

Knowledge of cryptographic signing algorithms, asymmetric cryptography, and key management is beneficial.
