Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead projects from conceptual design to completion, ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Develop and implement structural design solutions for a variety of building types, including steel, concrete, masonry, and timber construction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet project requirements and client needs.
  • Conduct site visits and assessments to identify structural issues and develop remediation plans.
  • Prepare and present technical proposals, reports, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in building-related investigation and structural design.
  • Broad experience in different types of construction, including timber, steel, and concrete.
  • PE license is strongly preferred, with extensive experience a must.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with experience in presenting technical information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in standard engineering software, including structural analysis and design programs.
  • Working knowledge of IBC codes and building regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in civil, structural, or architectural engineering, with a focus on structural engineering.
