Your Role and Responsibilities
- Functions as a member of a team dedicated to ensuring the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities.
- Load the assembly line with necessary parts.
- Read and understand diagrams to verify parts needed for motor assembly.
- Possess basic computer skills and have the capacity to use/learn the Shop Floor Display system.
- Comprehend flex flow and day and rank systems, and follow written instructions accurately.
- Utilize an air hoist when required.
- Assemble components accurately to meet production guidelines.
- Collaborate with colleagues to address any defects in parts or equipment, and order necessary supplies.
- Emphasize workplace safety and adhere to safety protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area on a daily basis.
- Be willing to work overtime as necessary and perform any additional assigned duties.
Qualifications for the Role
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Prior industrial experience, military service, or vocational/technical training accepted. Previous experience in motor manufacturing is a plus.
Specialized Skills and Requirements
A steady work history, reliable transportation, adaptability, attention to detail, and willingness to cross-train are essential. Must be able to work any shift, operate a forklift, and meet physical demands including lifting and manipulating various components.
Physical Demands
Requires repetitive movements such as pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting. Involves using an air manipulator for lifting motors. Comply with all safety procedures and use Personal Protective Equipment. Fine finger manipulation is necessary for tasks.
