As a Full Stack Engineer on the Digital Payments team, you will be responsible for the modernization of digital payments that is geared towards eliminating fraud and protecting every entity within payments eco system including Discover's consumers .

You will build and release reliable software systems at scale.

By partnering with enterprise-wide) teams, you'll develop and maintain full stack solutions that fit our business needs. Analyze, design, program, test, and deploy new user stories and features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production
Tends to Associate Application Engineers by providing learning tasks as well as work related tasks, directs the work of Senior Associate Application Engineers, and helps them continue to grow
Contributes to and leads technology communities at Discover
This group follows the Agile methodology and works in 2 weeks sprints, each engineer is responsible for writing their own test scripts

Bachelors – Computer Science or related
~3+ Years – Information Technology, (Software) Engineering, or related
~ Ability to quickly understand a new code base, dive into it and many complex systems to root-cause analysis, be able to juggle multiple things at one time, be able to operate independently with minimal hand-holding
The technical stack includes, Object oriented lang (c, c++, java is preferable), scripting lang (python, go), helm/yaml, Kubernetes, kafka, Postgres/sql, Shell/Bash Linux
