How You Will Contribute

Sales Managers at Pulsara have the primary responsibility to develop and execute Facility / EMS sales strategy, monitor sales performance, and cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to drive customer satisfaction and retention. Sales Managers are also responsible for working with the Strategic Initiatives team to develop and execute State / Region / System sales strategies and work with the Customer Success team on implementation, adoption, and retention activities.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Develop Sales Strategies
    1. Facility / EMS sales strategy
  2. Execute Sales Strategies
    1. Facility / EMS sales process (navigating deals through the pipeline to closure)
    2. Trade Shows
  3. Contracting (Customer Onboarding)
    1. Facility / EMS pricing strategy
  4. Customer Relationship Management
    1. Health System and Facility / EMS project stakeholder management
    2. Facility / EMS post-sale socialization
    3. Retention (Account Management): Facility / EMS renewal activity
    4. Retention (Account Management): Regional User Groups
Primary Objectives
  1. Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, renewals, expansions, and upsells, aligning efforts with corporate goals.
  2. Optimize Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high product utilization and satisfaction to drive retention and upsell opportunities.
  3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with other Pulsara functions, maximizing the effectiveness of sales strategies and enhancing overall customer experience.
Who Would Thrive in This Role

We welcome candidates who possess a combination of education and/or work experience, with a preference for the following qualifications and traits:
  • Bachelor's degree desired, or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 5 years of experience in healthcare information technology (HIT).
  • 3 years of experience in sales or sales operations, with proficiency in utilizing CRM systems.
Technology Skills:
  • Proficiency in general business technology with a knack for quickly mastering new applications, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, and CRM tools.
  • Understanding of industry compliance standards, particularly HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
Personal Attributes:
  • Results-oriented and goal-driven mindset, with a proven track record of exceeding goals.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, demonstrating a strong desire to contribute to a high-functioning, geographically distributed team.
Nice to Have/Bonus Skills (SaaS Related):
  • Experience in selling SaaS solutions or services.
  • Understanding of SaaS sales processes and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with SaaS pricing models and strategies.
Travel
  • Position requires up to 50% travel
