Description:
CareerSource Broward (CSBD) is seeking a meticulous and organized manager for the Welfare Transition Program & Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. The ideal candidate, a data-focused professional with strong leadership abilities, will oversee and guide program staff and participants to ensure they meet or surpass program requirements. Job Description:

  • Oversee and administer Federal and state-funded workforce development programs such as the Welfare Transition Program (WTP) and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Employment and Training (SNAP EBT), in addition to special grants.

  • Monitor and provide guidance to program staff and service providers on contracts, ensuring they meet performance requirements.

  • Manage administrative functions in compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

  • Provide ongoing support and expert advice to staff to meet performance measures.

  • Conduct site visits, training, file reviews, and maintain communication with staff. Offer corrective action when needed.

  • Monitor and evaluate goals, prepare analyses, recommend strategies for improvement, and ensure program outcomes are met.

  • Handle client issues, complaints, and disputes, representing the agency when necessary.

  • Develop expertise in program areas, stay updated on changes, and support staff as required.

  • Review and analyze invoices, manage budget variances, and liaise with governmental entities.

  • Ensure compliance with regulations, coordinate with support services agencies, and prepare reports as needed.

  • Analyze data, research program issues, attend meetings, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, adhere to regulations, and perform assigned duties.

  • Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business administration, social sciences, or related field is preferred. Two years of relevant experience and strong communication skills are necessary.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database systems, and transportation for site visits is required. Ability to analyze data, problem-solve, and understand complex situations.

  • Knowledge of program regulations, case management, and local economic conditions is beneficial.
