We are seeking a mid-level Quality Assurance Analyst with automation experience.

Responsibilities:

Analyze functional requirements, technical specifications, and user stories to develop, design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.

Create, maintain, and execute automated scripts for testing of web-based applications based upon design specifications and requirements.

Create test harnesses and other automated tools and scripts for internal use

Interface with QA team members, developers and business analysts for design and issue verification.

Peer review test plans and test cases.

Provide test result reports and metrics

Perform certification testing for third party products.

Restore and upgrade databases and websites in QA environment as needed for testing.

Write and review install instructions for scripts and software installations

Qualifications:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Knowledge of QA testing concepts and methodologies

Familiarity with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Scrum methodology

3-5 years of experience with automation tools (i.e QTP/UFT or Selenium). This includes developing automation scripts and test harnesses to test GUI, API, and Web Services.

Experience working with automation in ASP.Net applications.

Experience with API Testing tools (i.e. Postman , SOAPUI )

Familiarity with using configuration management and bug tracking software (i.e. JIRA) products preferred

Experience in Behavior Driven Development testing tools ( i.e. Cucumber and Gherkin) is required.

Experience in Load testing tools ( i.e, storm runner and Truclient) is a required.

Ability to write queries against an Oracle database and run using SQL Plus/ TOAD to perform data verification required

Advanced knowledge of scripting in languages such as C#, Java, VB Script, JavaScript, ANT, Python, Bash, or Maven is a plus

Strong analytical (ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions) and problem-solving skills are required.

Ability to manage time, multi-task, and change priorities.

Knowledge of federal procurement process is desired

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
