About the Position
Role Overview
- Design, implement, and operate a framework for Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) on AWS cloud
- Create MLOps pipelines orchestration leveraging Amazon SageMaker
- Review data science models, refactor and optimize code, containerize, deploy, version, and monitor quality
- Develop tools for Data Science and ML Research integrating functions like Model Monitoring, Governance, Deployment, Data Management, and Feature Engineering
- Conduct testing, validation, and automate tests for data science models
- Collaborate with a team of data scientists, engineers, and architects, and document processes
- Challenge and enhance platform capabilities continuously by keeping abreast of new offerings
Requirements
- Over 12 years of experience in automating infrastructure setup and application deployment
- Minimum 5 years of experience with AWS services such as SageMaker, Athena, EMR, Glue, and others
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix Administration
- Expertise in building CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
- Proficient with python, aws cli, Terraform, YAML, JSON
- Knowledge of containers and orchestration tools like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, ECS, EKS
- Analytical mindset to understand the strengths and weaknesses of components in use
- Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities
Qualifications
- Preferably one of the following certifications – AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Advanced Networking
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
