Job DescriptionPosition Summary:
This person manages projects within the department related to electrical engineering design, function and wiring of all machinery utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and procedures

Essential Functions:
Create electrical schematics in AutoCAD Electrical or E plan.
Create Bill of Materials (BOM's) in ERP System (Visual MFG).Work with vendors to research new components for machinery.
Provide guidance to electrical assembly team for wiring of the machinery.
Submits request to purchasing for all related electrical components.

Maintain equipment design and manufacture to current NEC codes and other standards such as:
UL, NFPA, or EN (CE standards) Assure that drawings and BOM's are properly "red-lined" to reflect changes.
Promotes teamwork and cooperation between areas of responsibility and other departments.
Communicate with 3rd party vendors, when needed, regarding additional equipment added to the machines.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:


Degree in BSEEMust have a minimum of 3 years' experience in design of electrical systems for machinery, preferably in the food industryProficiency in electrical system design using AutoCAD Electrical.
