Vulcan Materials Company - Plant Manager Position

Vulcan Materials Company, the leading producer of construction aggregates in the nation, is currently looking for a Plant Manager to join their team. At Vulcan, you will not just start a job, but be part of building America's future by providing essential materials for infrastructure projects.

What You'll Do:
  • Promote Safety: Prioritize safety to ensure plant operations are accident-free and comply with all policies.
  • Organize and Plan Production: Schedule plant operations for efficient production.
  • Manage Employee Relations: Provide leadership, training, and support to plant employees.
  • Monitor Processes and Materials: Analyze production and quality control processes.
  • Ensure Economic Profit: Manage financial decisions and seek cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain Compliance: Build a safety culture and ensure plant compliance.
Additional Responsibilities:

Execute any other duties as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Experience: Supervisory experience in aggregate or asphalt plants preferred.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to lead and motivate employees.
  • Operational Knowledge: Understanding of mining and production operations.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and team-building abilities.
  • Financial Knowledge: Proficiency in managing financial performance.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work in varied conditions.
