Arvinas is a leading biotechnology company dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for patients with severe diseases. Through our innovative approach, we focus on discovering, developing, and bringing to market therapies that target disease-causing proteins for degradation.

Using our cutting-edge PROTAC Discovery Engine platform, we create PROTAC targeted protein degraders to leverage the body's natural protein disposal system. This enables us to efficiently eliminate proteins that contribute to diseases.

One of our key focuses is advancing our preclinical pipeline of PROTAC protein degraders for both established and challenging targets. Additionally, we have several ongoing clinical programs aimed at treating conditions such as metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer and ER+/HER2- breast cancer.

As part of our strategic vision, we actively explore opportunities for collaborations, licensing, and partnerships to accelerate the development and maximize the commercial potential of our therapeutic candidates.

About the Role:

  • Seeking a dynamic Senior Manager, Business Development with a passion for working in a dynamic environment.
  • Key responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities and strategic partnerships while supporting our corporate vision and fostering strong relationships with current and future partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance business development strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate and finalize partnering transactions, including licenses and research collaborations.
  • Address and resolve business issues during negotiations in collaboration with internal teams and senior leadership.
  • Maintain a database of business development interactions with partners.
  • Organize meetings with potential partners and manage follow-up activities.
  • Work with finance colleagues to assess deal structures and terms.
  • Conduct due diligence and prepare data rooms for partner assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to navigate technical details and strategic objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal, analytical, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated success in driving business development opportunities to completion.
  • In-depth knowledge of drug discovery, development, and commercialization processes.
  • Extensive network in business development and understanding of industry trends.
  • Highly motivated team player with a creative and results-driven mindset.

Education & Experience:

  • B.S., or M.S required; background in a scientific field or relevant graduate degree preferred.
  • 5+ years' experience in life science, biotech, or pharmaceutical industries.
