As an Inside Sales Rep at Trinity, you will be a key customer contact and assist our CEO with multi-million-dollar high-profile business deals. This role requires strong partnerships with cross-function departments and calls for a candidate who possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist Trinity's CEO by monitoring and responding to customer emails.
  • Manage new quoting opportunities and provide quotes to prospective customers.
  • Work in conjunction with VP of Customer Service and COO to ensure accurate and timely responses to prospective and current customers.
  • Submit orders to suppliers through the ERP System.
  • Maintain and update customer information in our CRM software.
  • Provide timely responses and accurate information to customers and colleagues.
  • Answer phone calls and emails in a prompt, pleasant, professional, and helpful manner.
  • Warm call on lost and/or dormant accounts to retain business.
  • Build long-lasting relationships with our customers.
  • Support onboard new customers to establish a business relationship.
  • High-volume calling qualified leads over the phone to identify prospective clients.
  • Manage a customer base, while continuously developing new business.
  • Maintain a professional image consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Local travel, and the ability to travel overnight when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience interacting with customers in a previous sales position
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and process orientation.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in an often-dynamic environment.
  • Overall friendly disposition with an upbeat positive attitude.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple, and at times competing priorities.
  • Experience with enterprise order processing systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to connect quickly with people in an outgoing, friendly manner.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple, often competing, priorities.
  • Strong computer and technology proficiency, including macOS, CRM software, iOS/Android, and Microsoft Office.
  • Upbeat, high energy, and looking to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • This is an inside sales position that requires time spent in our office 8:30 am – 5:00 pm PST five days a week plus occasional local travel when needed.
  • When in the field, representatives visit and move around warehouses and industrial settings that may require the use of personal safety equipment.
  • Representatives must have the ability to comfortably lift and carry at least 25 pounds.
  • During a field day, representatives may encounter extreme heat/cold, rain/snow, and/or loud noises.
