**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

- Communicates with suppliers daily to understand quality, yields, pricing, and production
- Proactively share commodity and market information to commercial team, enabling confident sales and growth
- Support transactional, promotional, and contract pricing recommendations
- Maintain grower/supplier relationships and continually assist in ways to improve their performance using data
- Utilize knowledge of the customer base, such as product specifications and ordering patterns to better meet their needs
- Align the right supply to the right customers, and communicate packing instructions to suppliers

**QUALIFICATIONS**

Required:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of supply chain experience
- Ability to travel up to 5% (domestically and internationally)

Preferred:

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Strong team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
- Excellent relationship building skills with customers, growers, and internal teams
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Able to negotiate effectively with suppliers
- Great attitude, with a desire to contribute, learn, and grow professionally
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to make data-driven decisions
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, sometimes out of normal business hours
- Attention to detail with high standards for work; a customer service mindset
- Values a diverse and inclusive work environment
