Communications Manager Position at the Department of Anthropology

The Department of Anthropology is currently looking for a Communications Manager to handle the implementation and management of a comprehensive communications strategy. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Build and sustain a strong media, communications, and marketing identity for the Department of Anthropology.
  • Create and execute creative media and communications strategies across various platforms.
  • Generate compelling stories and content for diverse audiences and channels.
  • Design and produce department branding, marketing materials, and digital media.
  • Manage social media campaigns, channels, and analytics to enhance department reach.
  • Oversee the department website and collaborate with communication professionals for broader exposure.
  • Enhance department media presence through strong relationships and engaging story ideas.
Requirements:

Four-year degree in relevant fields or equivalent experience; experience in public and media relations, graphic design, digital media production, and social media management; strong writing and editing skills; proficiency in web design and content management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Experience in marketing, public relations, graphic design, digital media production, and social media marketing.
  • Strong communication and design skills.
  • Experience in video production, graphic design, and social media campaigns.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
