Customer Contact SpecialistJob SummaryThe Customer Contact Specialist's role is to educate customers on broadband services and discuss fiber placement and connection processes with owners of residential homes and small businesses.

This role will be required to take detailed field records of the fiber placement plan and relay information to our Outside Plant Department.

Responsibilities and DutiesRoute and determine fiber placementReviewing permits and ROWProfessional Communication and Customer ServiceRecording and relaying field recordIn person face-to face interaction with home or business ownersTravelQualifications and SkillsValid US Driver's license, clean driving recordAbility to read and understand maps, drawings, and diagrams for fiber constructionStrong organizational skillsAbility to work independently under minimal supervisionMust be able to sit for periods of time and be able to perform physical activities such as bending, standing, climbing, and walking in construction areas in excess of 10 hours a day.

Effective communication skills and the ability to communicate subject matter details.
Understand and operate technology and applications such as Microsoft Office 360, Smartsheet, and various devise applications.
