Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical history, physical examinations, and treatment options for individuals with substance use disorders like OUD and AUD.
  • Perform psychiatric evaluations, review lab results, and offer treatment options for patients with mental health disorders.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create personalized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and educate patients on their health.
  • Build strong relationships with patients to promote overall health and well-being, working closely with experienced Addiction Medicine and Psychiatry professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida and DEA certification.
  • Certification as a PMHNP with at least 1-2 years of clinical Psych experience as an APRN.
  • Previous experience in addiction medicine is a must.
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered mindset.
