Position Overview:

Role Details:
  • Type of Employment: Flexible options available from part-time (20 hours) to full-time (40 hours)
  • Work Location: Tampa, Florida
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments, including patient history, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Oversee ongoing medication management for clients
  • Engage with family members and other stakeholders involved in the patient's care
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of effective clinical treatment strategies
Qualifications:
  • Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.) from an accredited institution
  • Completion of a psychiatry residency program with a minimum of 2 years of post-residency experience
  • Board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry
  • Current DEA registration
  • Proficient in diagnosing and treating mental health and substance use disorders
  • Commitment to participating in quality improvement initiatives and required training
  • Familiarity with crisis intervention training (if mandated by contract or administrative guidelines)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certification or training in addiction medicine
  • Experience in treating individuals with co-occurring disorders
