Position: School Nurse (Registered Nurse - RN)
Location: Henderson, NC; On-site only
Job Description:
As a School Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in promoting the health and wellness of a student in our school community
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ride the bus to and from school with student
  • Help student with Trach care
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
  • Educate students, families, and staff on health-related topics and preventive measures
  • Maintain accurate health records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
  • Must have a current license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of North Carolina
  • Must have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
  • Must be CPR and BLS Certified
  • Must have knowledge of state and federal regulations related to school health services
  • Must have training and experience with tracheostomy care
  • Must have experience with health evaluation assessments
Details:
  • Compensation: $33+/hour
  • Hours: 37.5 hours/week + bus rides to and from school with student
  • Weekly pay + Benefits
  • Caseload: 1-on-1
