Responsibilities
  • Provide peri-operative care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Employ critical thinking to integrate objective data with knowledge gained from patient assessments
  • Apply evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
  • 1 year of general operating room experience as an RN or hospital-approved peri-operative course
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Nevada
  • Basic Life Support – AHA, Advanced Cardiac Life Support – AHA, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support – AHA certifications
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years of OR experience
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Computer skills
  • CNOR Certification
