Position Summary:

At AMF, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to provide comprehensive mechanical engineering support for our range of Bakery Systems products. This role involves working on current standard food machinery equipment, custom and legacy products, value engineering, and assisting with sales support initiatives.

Impact at AMF:
  • Contribute to mechanical machine design by sizing and specifying all components
  • Create accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for machine/system design
  • Offer remote support to field service technicians during service calls, installations, and commissioning
  • Provide on-site troubleshooting and startup assistance, involving occasional travel
  • Propose solutions for End of Life (EOL) components within AMF Systems
  • Maintain technical documents effectively
  • Support Applications Engineering and Equipment Product Managers with project scoping
  • Assist sales team with custom design solutions and quote estimations
Key Qualifications:
  • Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering; equivalent experience considered
  • Demonstrable experience in machine/mechanism design
  • Proficiency in designing, documenting pneumatic control systems
  • Experience with technical documentation and equipment/plant layout design
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD and 3D modeling applications (Solid Edge/Solid Works/Inventor)
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong project management abilities for concurrent processes
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Proven problem-solving capabilities
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
