Are you ready?Job Summary:


The Quality Assurance Manager will lead our quality assurance department, overseeing all QA activities from product development through to manufacturing and deployment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance within the satellite communications or related high-technology manufacturing industries.

They will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance policies, managing QA teams, and ensuring compliance with international quality standards and regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality assurance program that aligns with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the QA and cross-functional teams in key quality processes such as MRB, CAPA, and other investigations; inspection of materials and products; and the review of production processes including internal process audits.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to incorporate quality standards into product design and manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct audits of manufacturing processes and quality systems, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage the resolution of product quality issues, including root cause analysis, implementation of corrective actions, and communication with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure product compliance with international standards (e.g., ISO, AS9100) and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of quality assurance documentation, including quality manuals, procedure documents, and audit reports.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, reducing defects, and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Train and develop QA team members, promoting a culture of quality across the organization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in quality assurance: preferably in satellite communications or related high-tech manufacturing industries.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, tools, and standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS 9100, Six Sigma).
  • Experience with regulatory compliance and certifications in the satellite communications industry.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience managing a quality assurance team.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners and suppliers.
