Essential Responsibilities

This position will assist with the development, implementation, and monitoring of the Erbe Medical Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Support the thorough and timely completion of computer systems validation tasks.
  • Assist with electronic document control system administration (create/update system data).
  • Conduct detailed reviews of technical documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, forms, and test protocols/reports, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal standards.
  • Responsible for gathering, organizing, and distributing project status updates and progress reports from cross-functional teams to ensure timely communication and alignment with project milestones and deliverables.
  • Regularly update and maintain quality dashboards, ensuring they accurately reflect current quality metrics, trends, and compliance statuses for ongoing monitoring and management decision-making.
  • Provide support for the release and control of documents including updating current and archiving obsolete QMS documents.
  • Process document control changes and route new/updated documents for proper approvals.Documents include process instructions, forms and other documents for all areas of the business.
  • Provide training to individuals on related document control processes.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  • Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and FDA regulations.
  • Assist with review of DHR and final acceptance and release.
  • Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Accomplishes quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Supervisory Responsibility

This position is an individual contributor and has no direct supervisory responsibility.

Work Environment

This position operates in an office, cleanroom, and manufacturing environment.This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.The position also interacts with machinery on the manufacturing floor and numerous devices that are sold by the company.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • 5-7 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Medical device industry or regulated industry experience preferred.
