Overview:
Circle Logistics is seeking a strategic and results-oriented National Account Sales Director to lead our national accounts team.

This senior role is critical in driving revenue growth, developing strategic relationships, and ensuring the highest level of service for our key national accounts in the freight brokerage industry.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in sales leadership, a deep understanding of logistics, and a proven track record of managing large-scale accounts.


Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for national accounts that aligns with Circle Logistics' business goals.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's presence in the freight brokerage market.

Set and achieve ambitious sales targets for national accounts.

Analyze sales data and market trends to drive strategic decisions and improve sales performance.

lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing national accounts sales team.

Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of sales personnel focused on national accounts.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within national accounts.

Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning sessions with clients to ensure alignment and satisfaction.

Manage the national accounts sales pipeline, ensuring efficient lead generation, qualification, and deal closure processes.

Utilize CRM tools and analytics to monitor performance and implement data-driven improvements.

Work closely with operations, customer service, marketing, and other internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Collaborate with marketing to develop tailored campaigns and materials that support national accounts sales efforts.

Lead high-level negotiations with national accounts, securing profitable and sustainable contracts.

Ensure all contractual obligations are met and maintain up-to-date records of agreements and performance metrics.

Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive dynamics to inform sales strategies.

Provide strategic insights and feedback to the executive team based on market intelligence and client needs.

Continuously evaluate and refine sales processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the national accounts sales team.

Experience/Education:
High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience required.

Associates or Bachelor's Degree in logistics or business related field preferred.


8+ years of progressive sales experience in the freight brokerage or logistics industry, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a senior sales leadership role managing national accounts.

Experience with and/or ability to learn a variety of TMS/CRM platforms.

Above average proficiency with Google Drive and Microsoft Office (vlookup, pivot tables, reports).

Skills:
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a complex sales environment.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and drive a high-performance sales team.

Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Superior negotiation and contract management skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in using CRM software and sales analytics tools.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment and multitask.

Strong work ethic and dependability.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as business needs dictate.

Strong business acumen and understanding of the logistics and freight brokerage industry.

Adaptability and willingness to embrace change.
