The ideal candidate will have strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills. They should be comfortable with multi-tasking and able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment.

SALARY: $50,000 to $65,000

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Coordinate staff activities
  • Assemble packages for decision by Branch Leadership
  • Perform task management and reporting functions
  • Track meeting action items and conduct follow-up activities to ensure items are completed in a timely manner
  • Additional duties as assigned
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience working in an administrative/executive assistant, or secretarial position
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Skilled at prioritization, multi-tasking, and working independently
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS
  • Current DHS badge
  • Current Public Trust clearance or higher
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/SECURITY CLEARANCE
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DHS clearance (Public Trust)
  • Must work minimum expected 1,920 hours per year
