  • Leading and supervising staff in accounting duties, ensuring timely completion with high quality.
  • Providing training and guidance to team members as per company protocols.
  • Assisting staff with technical direction and issue resolution.
  • Handling employee complaints, performance feedback, and conduct-related matters.
  • Liaising with stakeholders to address inquiries, oversee accounting reports, and manage financial processes.
  • Processing accounting documents such as journal vouchers, reconciling financial records, and preparing reports.
  • Analyzing contracts, grants, and financial data for budget preparation.
  • Monitoring expenditures, ensuring budget compliance, and identifying trends.
  • Participating in testing financial systems, recommending enhancements, and training users.
  • Contributing to the development and upkeep of accounting policies.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Compensation Package:
The salary range for this role is $44.04/hr to $53.53/hr, dependent on skills and experience. Additionally, benefits will commence after 30 days of employment and include medical, dental, vision insurance, HSA, FSA, DCFSA accounts, and a 401k plan with employer contributions.

Mandatory Requirements:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an Accountancy focus
- CPA certification
- Minimum 3 years of general accounting experience, with at least 2 years in the public sector
- Proficiency in accounting, auditing, budgeting, and fiscal practices
- Ability to manage accounting records, prepare financial documents, and analyze transactions
- Previous experience in budget preparation and control, financial statement preparation, and AR or AP
