JOB INFORMATION:

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Service Center Supervisor to join our Transfill Division management team. In this position you will be responsible for filling high-pressure oxygen tanks, operating relevant equipment and the repair of medical equipment. You will be responsible for day-to-day management of company operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conducts training for appropriate staff members on equipment used in transfilling, products, telephone techniques, third-party payer procedures or other relevant topics as necessary or desirable to improve service
  • Develops a Transfill repair team to include techs, drivers and repair techs
  • Evaluates employees annually; establishes goals for upcoming year
  • Initiates appropriate actions on reports and recommendations provided by authorized inspection agencies
  • Interviews and hires staff as needed and approved by senior management
  • Maintains and updates all manuals necessary for company operations and establishes process to evaluate companys compliance with applicable policies and procedures
  • Maintains ongoing liaison with staff, senior management and corporate staff as required
  • Monitors and controls the company assets
  • Monitors operational expenses to comply with established percentage to revenue limits
  • Participates in regional and local meetings as requested
  • Takes appropriate action to ensure compliance with applicable Federal, State and Local laws and regulations including FDA, DOT, OSHA, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), BOP and DOH
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervise Transfill Techs & Drivers, Repair Techs and any other location specific operations staff
QUALIFICATIONS:

Employment is contingent on

  • Background investigation (company-wide)
  • Drug screen (when applicable for the position)
  • Valid drivers license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or related or equivalent experience in HME, Home Health Industry or Business
  • Experience with Durable Medical Equipment
  • Previous Medical Gases Manufacturing experience and familiarity with Current Good Manufacturing Processes
  • Three years experience in Home Health Industry
  • Valid CDL with Haz Mat and Air Brake endorsements issued by the state of employment, or the ability to procure one

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written, with location employees and company employees to ensure questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner
  • Knowledge in applicable government regulations (e.g. FDA, DOT, OSHA)
  • Helpful, knowledgeable and polite while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Interpret a variety of instructions in a variety of communication mediums
  • Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME)
  • Maintain confidentiality and practice discretion and caution when handling sensitive information
  • Multi-task along with attention to detail
  • Self-motivation, organized, time-management and deductive problem solving skills
  • Work independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands

  • Ability to bend and lift in excess of 50 pounds; tanks
  • Light lifting may be required occasionally to stock inventory or office supplies
  • Requires close vision to small print on computer and or paperwork
  • Requires sitting, walking, standing, talking or listening
